Your Travel Arrangements

The Wertheim Glass Museum is located on the Romantic Road in the heart of Wertheim.

By public transportation Public transportation: buses, trains, and more

Wertheim is connected to Deutsche Bahn's regional rail network (e.g., RE 87, RB 88) and is easily accessible via the Würzburg–Lauda–Aschaffenburg line.

From the Wertheim train station, it’s a 9-minute walk to the Glass Museum (follow Bahnhofstraße, go through the underpass beneath the train tracks, cross the Tauber Bridge, then turn right onto Lindenstraße, which becomes Mühlenstraße).

Alternatively, bus line 941 heading toward Tauberbischofsheim also stops at the Glass Museum.

By car including parking information

You can reach Wertheim via the

A3 Highway, Exit: Marktheidenfeld/Wertheim (Distance: 10 km) or Exit: Wertheim/Lengfurt (Distance: 10 km)

A81 Highway, Exit: Tauberbischofsheim (Distance: 30 km)

There is limited parking available right next to the museum.

We recommend nearby parking areas in the Old Town / along the banks of the Main —from there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the museum.
